We provide a variety of education offerings: EFM (Education for Ministry) is a popular leadership program, with 20 current participants and more than 100, from our parish and others in the city, who have participated in recent years.
On Sunday mornings between services Adult Forum presentations are available throughout the year. Subjects covered range from current interests to historical subjects. Also offered, during the interim between services and again on a weeknight, is our catechumenate program, "Episcopal 101."
A long-standing, and highly successful feature is our annual Lenten Academy, held on consecutive Wednesday evenings during Lent. Following a simple Lenten dinner, outside speakers as well as clergy and lay people from within the congregation present a choice of four or five courses. The staff and members of the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception participate both in planning and attending these courses. Recently, an Advent study series has also been offered on Wednesday nights.
Many of the Small Group Ministries, especially those providing Bible study, also contribute to members' Christian formation.
