Our Place in Metropolitan Kansas City
Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral is located in an urban setting on the western edge of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Our geographic location provides us with substantial potential for growth and unique opportunities for interaction with all segments of the metropolitan area.

To the east and south of our Cathedral campus is the Bartle Hall Convention Center, one of the country's largest exhibition halls. Soon to be constructed south of the convention center will be a new Performing Arts Center. Beyond the convention center lies the downtown district of office buildings, theaters, restaurants and hotels.

Looking to the north and northwest, the Cathedral is across the street from the new Kansas City Southern headquarters, and one block further north is the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kansas City/St Joseph. The surrounding area is undergoing rejuvenation as an urban living center. Restoration and construction of historically compatible apartments and condominiums are providing housing for a growing community of young adults and new arrivals to the city.

To the west and south, the Cathedral is accessed by a network of interstate highways, reaching to all corners of Greater Kansas City. Just beyond these freeways is the center of the city's Hispanic community.
