Our Congregation
Our parishioners come from all parts of metropolitan Kansas City. In
the past 60 years, the population has spread into neighboring areas across
the state line in Kansas. In Missouri it spreads far to the south and east of
the downtown area and north of the Missouri River.
Connected to all these by freeways, the location of Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral assures access within less than 25 minutes for most of our membership, although they live in more than 75 different zip code areas, six counties and two states.
In recent years we have established an active program of welcoming and incorporating new members. While we remain largely white and middle class, we are increasing not only in ethnic diversity, but also in diversity of household type, lifestyle, age and economic status.
