We believe that good stewardship in our lives and our possessions is an essential part of our spiritual journey. A dedicated Stewardship committee begins our Every Member Canvass with early fall activities and continues their efforts throughout the year.
Our parish exceeds the Episcopal Church average in the percentage of members pledging and we equal other churches in our denomination in the amount of our average pledge. Nevertheless, one-half of our operating budget is funded from endowment income.
While we are deeply grateful for this support from the generosity of those who have gone before us, our Vestry has adopted a goal of increasing the percent of budgeted income from pledges.
