Our Worship

Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral is eucharistically centered, with a traditional worship style using Rite II liturgies. The nave and sanctuary, renovated in 1986-1987, offer a beautiful setting for worship and allow for ceremonies in keeping with the best in contemporary liturgical practice.

The large marble baptismal font, highlighted by a fine carved screen, and the dramatic free-standing altar and refinished reredos, lift up the two Sacraments of the Gospel.

Our worship schedule includes Holy Eucharist at 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. and another Eucharist following Evensong at 5:00 p.m. On Wednesdays at 12:05 p.m. the Holy Eucharist is celebrated; on other weekdays the noontime service is reading of the Daily Office.

A service of healing is offered at the Sunday services three times a year. The laying-on-of-hands and anointing for healing is available during the communion at every Sunday service.

Worship life is enhanced by participation of the laity in a number of capacities, including acolytes and adult servers, lectors, lay Eucharistic ministers, chalice bearers, ushers and Altar Guild members.
