Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral

Youth Ministry

Trinity Teens is the youth group at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral. All youth are members of this group. Trinity Teens is led by a dedicated group of volunteers.

Trinity Teens meetings and activities focus on fellowship, ministry, discipleship, worship and evangelism as the group responds to fulfilling Jesus’ teachings through the Great Commandment, the Great Commission and the Baptismal Covenant.

Christian Formation

Trinity Teens meet during the Sunday Christian Formation hour (9:15-10 a.m.). This year we will focus on the question, “Where is God in my life?” Our discussions and activities will be directed at helping youth to understand all parts of their lives as being a gift from God.

NEW!!  We have spent time this year talking about Anglican Prayer Beads and writing prayers for the youth to use with them.

Wednesday Evening Meetings

Trinity Teens meet every Wednesday night from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m.

Meetings begin with dinner at 6:45 p.m. Trinity Teens engage in games, music, worship and other activities. Each meeting is a unique experience.

Parents and volunteers provide dinner. See Curtis Hamilton or Joe Behen if you would like to provide dinner one week.

Activities and Projects

Trinity Teens also get together for projects and activities.

On the first Wednesday night of each month, Trinity Teens work at the Kansas City Community Kitchen and prepare part of the meal that will be served the next day to the homeless and working poor.

Activities will be posted here throughout the year.
